Job Description - Senior Administrator


Job Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Adminstrator to join our financial services team in our Cardiff regional hub. The successful candidate will support financial advisers provide a high quality service to our clients. You need to be both a people person and a first-class administrator to excel in this role, as you’ll have daily contact with our clients, advisers, colleagues and providers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong organisational background and a passion for financial planning to develop their career within a professional environment. The is suitable for candidates eager to develop their experience in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities


  • Maintain regular contact with clients providing assistance where required

  • Liaise with various providers, gathering and correlating plan / policy information and ensuring a smooth and timely business process

  • Processing Letters of Authority

  • Create and maintain client files and enter details onto back office database

  • Submitting Business on internal and external systems

  • Prepare paperwork for pre-sale and post-sale

  • Meeting preparation – Preparing all pre-meeting requirements such as portfolio valuations and performance, fact find documentation, money laundering requirements, risk questionnaires, etc.

  • Post-meeting administration – Preparing, writing and producing client reports.

  • Implementing adviser specific actions that result from advice given to the client

  • New business processing and submitting onto external and internal systems

  • Develop a broad knowledge of financial products including both individual and employer pension knowledge, investments and protection products

  • General Administration and client servicing support as needed

Skills and Qualifications


  • Must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fun but professional environment. 

  • You must be happy to work on your own and as part of a team

  • Able to work within defined business processes.

  • Prioritise and plan own workload.

  • Have attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to focus and prioritise effectively.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships internally & externally

  • Good IT skills including Office 365

  • Good telephone manner.


Previous experience of working within a similar role within a financial services business is highly desirable.
