SENIOR AIR EXPORT CLERK

NEW POSITION - We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Air Export Operator to join a dynamic team based locally to Heathrow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled export professional to take the next step in their career, with a clear path toward a Team Leader position.

• Coordinate and manage start to finish air export shipments
• Liaise with airlines, handling agents, and overseas offices
• Prepare and process export documentation (AWBs, customs entries.)
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
• Monitor and manage shipment schedules, resolving issues pro-actively
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely updates
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to process improvements and team development
• Assist in training and developing staff in preparation for a Team Leader role
  
  Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in air freight export operations
• Strong knowledge of air export procedures, documentation, and regulations
• Familiarity with customs systems and export control requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Advantageous if you have experience working with Cargowise and Perishables
