Salary: £45,000 - £48,000

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Applications & IT Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting business-critical applications and leading the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking IT team driving innovation across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for key business applications including AX 2012, D365, PPMS, and PTS
• Lead and support application-related projects from planning to implementation
• Maintain integrations across hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-premises)
• Drive improvements in ERP and production system performance
• Deliver end-user training and ongoing support
• Collaborate with finance, production, and third-party vendors to support business needs
• Assist with stocktake and other business-critical functions (some out-of-hours work required)

Ideal Candidate

You are:

• An experienced senior support engineer with ERP application knowledge, particularly AX or D365
• Confident in managing hybrid IT environments
• Focused on continuous improvement and experienced in automation tools like Power Automate or Power Platform
• A strong communicator who can advise stakeholders and lead on technical decisions
• A collaborative team player who takes ownership and supports the development of others

Requirements:

• Proven application support experience, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong background in Microsoft systems and ERP platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and project delivery skills
• Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required
