Duties As an Applications Engineer, you will have deep technical involvement from designing and specifying audio visual solutions all the way through to commissioning stages, being hands on and acting as a key point of contact for all things technical throughout. Designing and developing integrated AV systems Supporting pre-sales and technical bid activities Delivering commissioning and system integration support Producing technical documentation and system schematics DSP configuration, tuning and troubleshooting Working closely with Sales, Project Managers, Design and Installation teams Providing advanced troubleshooting and technical support Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to best practice development. Required Experience 5+ years’ experience within AV or audio systems integration with a deep understanding of audio. Must be able to configure QSYS audio DSPs or similar. Strong understanding of AVoIP, networking and Dante. Design experience within Vectorworks, AutoCAD Revit or similar would be highly beneficial. Good understanding of life safety or PAVA systems.
