Senior Architect

Konker is currently recruiting for a Senior Architect to join an award-winning architectural practice based in Newport. 
 
This practice consists of over 100 hard-working and creative staff members across 3 separate offices located in Gloucester, London, and Newport, with the latter being where successful applicants will be situated for this role. 
 
Offering architectural services such as landscape architecture, master planning, interior and urban design, consultancy, and 3D modelling, candidates are guaranteed to be exposed to a range of tasks in day-to-day life at this practice. Furthermore, they operate in a variety of sectors including education, sport and leisure, commercial, residential, healthcare, community, and mixed-use. 
 
The ideal candidate for this company will preferably have some architectural experience of working in education to ensure they are prepared for the responsibilities of this role. The position will see you as the Education lead for the Newport office. 
 
Furthermore, you will be tasked with standard architectural roles such as producing planning applications, tender drawing packages, working drawings, and job running. Teamwork skills are also essential as you will be working as part of a team on large-scale projects. Strong technical skills in working with Revit would be an advantage. 
 
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000-£45,000, depending on previous experiencee and they offer numerous additional benefits such as flexible working, generous holiday allowance, and continued professional development opportunities.
