Senior Architect

Konker is working with a respected multi-disciplinary practice just outside Portsmouth to recruit a Senior Architect to help grow their architecture team.

This is a strategic hire, stepping into a leadership role within a team of 11, and overall 24 in the practice.

You’ll mentor and manage Architects and Technicians, oversee project delivery, and ensure quality across a varied portfolio.

Projects span commercial, MOD, education, and healthcare, offering both technical challenge and people leadership.

Alongside managing the team, you’ll stay hands-on with delivery, reviewing and coordinating packages (mainly in AutoCAD, with some Revit).

To Be Considered:- Senior Architect

• Qualified Architect with leadership/management experience
• Strong commercial background (MOD, healthcare, education a bonus)
• Confident balancing team leadership with hands-on project work
• Client-facing, deadline-driven, and consistent in delivery
• UK resident (5+ years) eligible for DBS Enhanced & SC clearance
