Konker is currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Designer to join an award-winning architectural practice based in Newport.

This practice consists of over 100 hard-working and creative staff members across 3 separate offices located in Gloucester, London, and Newport, with the latter being where successful applicants will be situated for this role. With over 25 years of experience

The ideal candidate for this company will have some experience of working as an Architectural Designer in a design consultancy to ensure they are prepared for the responsibilities of this role. The position will see you assist with all aspects of design and

job running in residential design.

Furthermore, you will be tasked with working on house types on a variety of large-scale residential schemes as well as working on bespoke one-off houses and individual housing developments. Teamwork skills are also essential as you will be working in a planning

team from feasibility to planning submission. Strong technical skills in working with AutoCAD and Photoshop would be an advantage.

The Role: Senior Architectural Designer

Working on variety of large-scale residential schemes
Bespoke one-off houses and individual housing developments
Liaising with internal and external project teams on residential schemes
Creating schematic design through planning submission to Tender package for mainly residential schemes
Working in planning team from feasibility to planning submission
Strong AutoCAD and Photoshop skills
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000-£45,000 depending on previous experience and they offer regular support and mentoring.
