Senior Architectural Engineer

Description:
Strong working knowledge of many design techniques and analysis methods, and detailed knowledge of the content and application of standards codes and guidelines as applicable. Reporting into the Department Manager.

Responsibilities:
Performs independently architectural designs of all types of buildings.
Prepares details and layouts of buildings.
Is specialized in some fields (blast resistant buildings, …)
Is specialized in some design and building codes (EC, ACI/AISC/API, GOST, …)
Initiates interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs.
Performs checks of drafting.
Performs design verification through single discipline check and assists with inter-discipline checks (IDC).
Prepares specifications.
Prepares subcontract documents (SOW….).
Review of vendor data and subcontract documentations.
Prepares technical bid evaluations
Checks designs for operational requirements, constructability and maintainability.
Must be familiar with AutoCAD.

Experience:
12-20 years in oil and gas with major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design.
