Senior Assistant Accountant

Key responsibilities include:

Ability to support accounts payable, receivable and supplier management processes
Assisting with the preparation of VAT, corporation tax and other statutory returns
Helping to improve finance systems and streamline transactional workflows
Assisting with payroll processing, including data collation and benefits administration
Responding promptly to internal finance queries and providing day-to-day support to the team
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant role:

Previous experience in a similar level role
Able to manage multiple priorities accurately and on time
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills and process improvement focus
Works effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Collaborates well across teams
