Senior Associate Employment Solicitor – London

Diamond Search is recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, ambitious and established law firm for a Senior Associate to join its Employment team in London.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to take on a varied caseload, work directly with employer clients and contribute to the development of an established legal practice.

The role would suit a commercially minded employment lawyer who enjoys a combination of high-quality legal work, client contact, responsibility and business development.

The Role

You will advise employer clients across a broad range of employment law matters, managing your own work while working closely with Partners and other members of the legal team.

The position will involve both day-to-day employment advice and more complex matters, with the opportunity to develop trusted client relationships and become a key point of contact for clients.

About You

We are interested in speaking with Associates, Senior Associates, Senior Employment Solicitors and experienced Employment Lawyers who are considering their next move.

You are likely to have:

* Strong post-qualification experience in Employment Law

* Significant experience advising employers and businesses

* Experience gained within a reputable regional, national or London law firm

* Experience managing your own caseload and client relationships

* Confidence dealing with complex employment matters

* Strong legal drafting, analytical and negotiation skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers

* An interest in developing client relationships and generating new business

* A commercial approach to legal advice and client service

* An understanding of the financial and operational requirements of private practice

Required Qualifications

* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales

* Current practising certificate

* Strong experience in UK Employment Law

* Completed a recognised legal training contract

* Legal degree (2:1 or above) or non-law degree followed by GDL/LPC
