Job Description - Senior Associate Family Law

Themis Recruit are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Family Lawyer to join our clients national Family Law team in the North West.

We’re seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Law specialist with significant experience managing a diverse caseload, including divorce, financial matters, private children issues, and cohabitation disputes. You’ll take a leadership role by mentoring team members, maintaining excellent client care, and adhering to our firm’s national standards.

This role will involve managing sensitive and time -critical matters, requiring strong communication, organisational, and time management skills. You will also have opportunities to oversee, delegate tasks, and mentor team members.

You’ll be expected to engage with new clients, offering realistic advice and setting clear expectations. Your role will include negotiation responsibilities, managing time recording and billing to meet targets, and contributing to business development by attending networking events and exploring opportunities to elevate the team’s profile.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Family Law specialist, with expertise across a range of family matters (divorce, financial settlements, private children’s matters, and cohabitation disputes)
  • Experience supervising and mentoring team members
  • Strong negotiation and client management skills
  • Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • A proactive approach to business development and a commitment to team growth
