AJ Chambers is pleased to be partnering with a well-established and respected Top 100 UK law firm in their search for a Senior Associate to join their highly successful Commercial Property team in London.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute and technically strong real estate lawyer to step into a senior role within a forward-thinking and high-performing team. You will play a key part in managing complex transactions, mentoring junior team members, and developing long-term client relationships across a broad range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you will handle a diverse and high-quality caseload, including:

• Acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial properties
• Landlord and tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for lease, and renewals
• Ongoing asset and portfolio management for major clients
• Real estate aspects of corporate transactions, joint ventures, and development projects
• Advising a wide client base across sectors such as retail, healthcare, logistics, and technology

You’ll also contribute to business development initiatives and collaborate closely with partners on strategic client matters.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with:

• 5+ years PQE in commercial property law
• Strong technical skills and the ability to manage a wide range of real estate matters independently
• A commercial approach and the confidence to provide pragmatic, solution-focused advice
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first attitude
• A commitment to career progression and long-term growth within a collaborative firm
