Senior Associate Solicitor

The successful Senior Associate Solicitor will advise on a broad spectrum of banking and finance matters including syndicated and bilateral lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and corporate finance. You will manage transactions end-to-end, including drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documentation, and intercreditor arrangements.

You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, supporting business development efforts, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, corporate clients, and other stakeholders involved in the banking and finance sector.

To succeed in this Senior Associate Solicitor position, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as a solicitor in England & Wales, with a strong focus on banking and finance law.
• Proven experience advising both borrowers and lenders on complex financing arrangements.
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in relation to loan and security documents.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to work efficiently on high-value, time-sensitive transactions.
• A collaborative approach with a passion for developing both client relationships and junior colleagues.
• Exposure to leveraged finance and/or real estate finance will be beneficial.
