Senior / Associate Transport Planner – Surrey

The opportunity

• Lead delivery: Own small–medium projects from inception to completion, ensuring robust technical outputs, budgets and programmes.
  

• Shape major schemes: Contribute to large multidisciplinary projects, coordinating with external consultants and our client’s in -house teams.
  

• Client -facing: Attend meetings, present findings and negotiate with local highway authorities and stakeholders.
  

• Develop others: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering best practice and knowledge sharing.
  

What you’ll bring

• Experience: 4+ years in transport planning (public or private sector).
  

• Tools & tech: Practical knowledge of TEMPro, ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS and Excel (essential).
  

• Qualifications: Master’s in Transport Planning (desirable, not essential).
  

• Professional bodies: Membership of CIHT and/or CILT (desirable, not essential).
  

• Licence: Full, clean UK driving licence.
