Senior Aviation Advisory Consultant

Mace Consult’s Advisory Centre of Excellence helps clients solve complex infrastructure challenges and make confident investment decisions. We are looking for an airport advisory professional to join the Advisory Centre of Excellence to support high-impact commissions across airport planning, development strategy, due diligence and investment appraisal.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering strategic airport advisory assignments for aviation, investor, government and infrastructure clients.
• Assessing airport demand, capacity, operations and development options to inform planning and investment decisions.
• Reviewing masterplans, capacity studies, technical outputs and development concepts, identifying key risks and opportunities.
• Contributing to due diligence, business cases, option appraisal and investment planning for airport transactions and major development programmes.
• Translating complex technical, operational and commercial issues into clear advice, reports and presentations.
• Supporting proposals, methodologies and the continued development of Mace Consult’s strategic Airport Advisory offer.

You’ll need to have:

• Experience in airport advisory, planning, aviation consultancy or a related field, together with strong analytical skills and the ability to produce high-quality client-facing outputs.
• Deonstrable experience in airport advisory, airport planning, aviation consultancy or a related field.
• Strong understanding of airport planning principles, operations, infrastructure requirements and aviation market dynamics.
• Experience supporting airport master planning, capacity assessments, development studies or technical due diligence.
• Working knowledge of ICAO Annex 14 and IATA Airport development reference manual principles.
• Strong research, analysis, problem-solving and communication skills, with confidence engaging multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple commissions, business development activity and internal initiatives.
• Also advantageous\: Experience in airport business planning, commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, financial modelling, investment appraisal or related advisory service lines would be beneficial.
