About the Opportunity

My client, an exceptional aerospace tech firm building next-gen communication intelligent networking company are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work on their highly technical core systems.

The Role

Join their core engineering team to design, build and refine systems powering critical connectivity infrastructure. You’ will lead technical work alongside top industry engineers, owning projects from design through to launch.

Key work:

* Scale and improve distributed systems for advanced link modelling — faster, more reliable across varied environments

* Shift computational pipelines from CPU to GPU architecture for greater speed and efficiency

* Refine algorithms using signal processing and linear algebra to boost capability and commercial value

* Guide technical design and architecture, delivering projects end-to-end

* Maintain code quality, diagnose performance issues and strengthen testing practices

What You Bring

* Degree (BSc/MSc) in relevant field

* 5+ years hands-on software development

* Strong in Go, C/C++, Rust or Java

* 3+ years building or running large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks

* Solid grasp of cloud, container orchestration and distributed data systems

* Proven technical design and project delivery experience

* Eligible to work full-time in the UK
