The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Bid Writer to join the team in Scotland’s Central Belt. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for producing high-quality, bespoke PQQs and tender submissions that reflect the company’s values and meet the aspirations of their clients—particularly within the Local Authority Social Housing sector.

While experience in social housing, energy, or construction is advantageous, we also welcome applications from candidates with strong bid writing experience in other sectors who can bring transferable skills and a fresh perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end bid writing process, from strategy to submission
  • Develop compelling, benefit-led proposals that clearly articulate customer value
  • Manage bid timelines and coordinate input from internal stakeholders
  • Write, edit, and format high-quality PQQ and tender documents
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Bid Improvement Plan

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in bid writing across any sector
  • Exceptional creative writing and editing skills
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with electronic tendering platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
