Berkshire | £87,000 - £97,000 per annum | Permanent - 2-3 days on site
I'm currently supporting a leading organisation in Berkshire that is looking to appoint a Senior BIM Manager to lead its digital delivery and information management function.
This position would suit an experienced BIM professional with previous line management responsibility who can drive BIM standards, support project teams and champion digital best practice across multiple projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping BIM strategy, improving delivery processes and developing a high-performing BIM team.
Responsibilities
Lead BIM delivery across a portfolio of projects. Manage and develop a team of BIM professionals. Ensure projects comply with BIM standards and client requirements. Support project mobilisation and digital implementation activities. Monitor project progress and resolve delivery issues. Coordinate information management activities across project teams. Develop and manage Information Execution Plans. Provide leadership on BIM processes and governance. Support collaboration between clients, contractors and internal teams. Promote digital innovation and best practice. Maintain quality standards across BIM deliverables. Drive continuous improvement across digital workflows.
Requirements
Previous experience managing BIM teams. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience delivering BIM strategy on complex projects. Ability to manage resources and project priorities. Knowledge of BIM across design, construction and handover phases. Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and information management. Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma and CDE platforms. Experience working with digital information and project data. Strong stakeholder management experience. Ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams. Well-organised with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Line Management Responsibilities
Manage and mentor BIM team members. Conduct performance reviews and regular one-to-ones. Identify training and development requirements. Allocate resources across projects. Provide technical guidance and support to the wider team.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of four years' experience within BIM-focused positions. At least two years' experience in a senior or leadership role. Relevant qualification within Engineering, Architecture, Construction or a related discipline.
