The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, focusing on transactional accounts and supporting the wider team.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Processing purchase ledger and sub-contractor invoices

* Completing daily bank reconciliations

* Raising and processing sales invoices

* Chasing overdue payments and maintaining customer relationships

* Supporting with month-end accounts and ad hoc finance tasks

* Providing administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations

About You

You’ll be a proactive, organised person who enjoys working with numbers and takes pride in accuracy.

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role

* The ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team

* Knowledge of Xero or Sage (advantageous)

* A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
