We're looking for an experienced Senior Brand PR & Communications Manager to join a much-loved, legacy heritage brand as it embarks on an exciting new chapter. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in modernising the voice of a respected British institution, helping it stay relevant for today while remaining true to its proud history.
About the Opportunity
This isn't a routine PR role. Our client is going through a significant brand transformation and needs someone with creativity, confidence and strategic flair to help lead the way.
You'll be responsible for developing and delivering a fresh, bold PR and communications strategy that builds advocacy, strengthens reputation and connects with both loyal supporters and new audiences. It's a role for someone who can think big, act fast and bring people with them.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the PR and communications strategy to support the launch of a major rebrand
Creating compelling campaigns that tell a consistent, engaging brand story
Driving proactive media relations and generating high-profile coverage across national and specialist outlets
Developing thought leadership programmes that position senior leaders as trusted voices
Managing PR activity around flagship events, including media planning and on-site press operations
Working closely with digital and marketing teams to deliver truly integrated, multi-channel campaigns
Building relationships with influencers, partners and agencies to amplify reach
Protecting brand reputation through proactive and, when needed, reactive communications
Measuring and reporting on results to show real impact and value
What We're Looking For
This role would suit a seasoned communications professional who understands how to balance heritage with modern relevance.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in PR, media relations and strategic communications
Experience working with well-established or heritage brands, particularly through periods of change
A strong track record of delivering creative, integrated PR campaigns
Excellent writing skills and a genuine passion for storytelling
Confidence developing thought leadership content and securing speaking opportunities
Great media contacts and the ability to generate standout coverage
Experience collaborating with digital teams and managing external agencies
A practical, results-focused approach with strong reporting and analytical skills
A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or PR is preferred.
Why This Role?
This is a fantastic chance to work with a brand that holds a special place in British culture. You'll have the opportunity to help shape its future direction, influence how it's perceived, and deliver work that really matters.
