Salary: £negotiable, subject to experience
Location: Office based role in Westcliff On Sea
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Holiday: 20 general days plus bank holidays and Christmas close down
Summary of Role
• To generate new business income using own contacts and from leads generated by our marketing team
• To manage a book of existing clients in accordance with our company procedures
• To develop close working relationships with our panel of insurers
• To cross-sell products according to the demands and needs of clients.
• To assist the Directors and other staff members when requested.
Key Skills and Experience Required
• Experience working in the construction insurance sector
• Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance including but not limited to Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity and Motor Fleet
• Competent on Acturis, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs
• Excellent written and telephone skills
• A proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets
• To possess excellent sales skills
• To possess excellent negotiation skills
• To understand and assist clients and fellow staff members with any Insurance queries
