Job Description - Senior Building Services Engineer
An award winning facilities management support provider with a 35 year PFI contract to maintain various commercial/industrial MOD assets in Wiltshire & Hampshire.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Building Services Engineer (Estates Technical Assurance Lead) to join our clients team in Tidworth, Wiltshire.
This is a senior technical leadership role, working closing with the Head of Estates, acting as the senior technical authority for Hard FM/Building Services across the contract. Ideally we’re looking for a chartered individual, or someone who is IEng with deserve to become CEng.
* You will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across building services engineering disciplines throughout the estate.
* You will act as the senior technical authority and escalation point for complex engineering issues, critical asset failures and operational risks.
* You will lead root cause investigations, identify recurring defects and implement engineering solutions that improve reliability and reduce risk.
* You will evaluate asset performance and develop lifecycle replacement plans that support long term operational resilience.
* You will support major incidents, service disruptions and business continuity events while helping restore critical services.
* You will coach, mentor and develop technical capability across teams while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
* You will be degree qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and be a Chartered Engineer, or working towards chartership, through an appropriate professional institution.
* You will have experience in the design, operation and maintenance of hot and cold water systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, heat pumps, building management systems and control systems, alongside experience writing technical reports and managing subcontractors.
* You will be analytical, able to communicate effectively at all organisational levels and capable of building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
