*Senior Buyer Role - Market-Leading FMCG Business - Hybrid working based in Lancashire - Up to £50,000 + Generous Benefits Package *

Futures are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a market-leading FMCG business with a portfolio of fun and innovative brands!

This business currently turnover £80m + and have achieved 23% YoY through successful retail partnerships, NPD projects and acquisitions!

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food products and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) to ensure inventory meets quality and cost efficiency standards.

You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels and support the company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities
Supplier Management - Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers
Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts to ensure the best deals
Source new products and assess their potential in the market
Place orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, price changes, and emerging products
Develop and implement cost-saving strategies
Track and report on purchasing activities and budgets
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to understand demand and ensure seamless supply chain operations

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the food or FMCG industry
Knowledge/an interest within Strategic Buyer and the ability to create and implement new processes
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ambitious and eager to progress in career
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
