Senior Buyer - Indirect

Your new company
A fast-paced and commercial organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent. They are now recruiting for a Senior Buyer - Indirects to join the procurement team. The organisation offers flexibility for hybrid working after initial training.

Your new role
The Senior Buyer - Indirects will provide end-to-end procurement support to the business and will manage a range of indirect contracts. Key responsibilities will include managing tenders, negotiating terms & conditions, supplier onboarding, monitoring internal and supplier performance, supplier reports and audits and continuous improvement. The Senior Buyer will work very closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and gain feedback. The role will also be responsible for due diligence, mitigating supply chain risk and will act as the procurement SME to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Senior Buyer with full procurement cycle experience from within a commercial organisation. You will be able to demonstrate expertise in leading tender processes, managing contract and supplier management. Ideally, you will be CIPS qualified (or studying). You will be highly organised at managing projects, you will have excellent influencing skills and be able to build relationships with people at all levels.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits. Ongoing CIPS study support may be available for the right candidate.
