Description

• Assist in the delivery and develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to align with business objectives.
• Strong focus on review and negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Analyse supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Profile

A successful Strategic Buyer should have:

• Experience in procurement within Manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills with experience of negotiating around Terms and Conditions
• Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with procurement tools and systems ideally ERP
• A detail-oriented approach and ability to analyse data effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
