The business is for a retail e-commerce platform with operations in the UK & Europe, who is currently growing their FMCG category team! The roles & responsibilities of this Senior Buying Manager - Consumer Electronics role:

• Oversee purchasing and sales for the Electronics category, covering Computers, Mobile, Tablets, Audio, VR devices, and more.
• Drive business development by onboarding top-tier brands and suppliers.
• Evaluate performance metrics to identify sourcing gaps and develop strategies to enhance supplier and category outcomes.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability.
• Design and implement sales plans, including pricing models and promotional initiatives.
• Identify and onboard new partners and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Curate category assortments based on consumer preferences and use-case relevance.
• Work closely with international supply chain teams to align resources and support needs.
• Review sales and procurement analytics to identify trends, improve processes, and grow gross profit margins.

The qualifications of this Senior Buying Manager - Consumer Electronics Role:

• Ideally having circa 5 - 8 years + extensive experience in Category Management & Buying with understanding of Trade Marketing.
• Solid experience in buying within consumer electronics is essential, this includes products such as computers, laptops, phone, accessories, peripherals, entertainment, gaming & VR headset
• In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour, market trends, and a strong track record in Buying brands vis suppliers & core distributors
• Well-established network of supplier relationships within the CE & appliance sector.
• Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for data and a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
• Clear and confident communicator with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Results-driven, creative, collaborative, and dedicated to contributing meaningfully to organisational success
