Senior Campaign Graphic Designer- 12 month FTC

The Role:
At NEXT we have a great opportunity for a Senior Campaign Graphics Designer to join our Brand Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Senior Campaign Graphic Designer, you will create innovative concepts for new marketing campaigns that represent, elevate, and enhance the Next brand. Working alongside our Retail and Marketing teams, you will develop exceptional designs for seasonal campaigns, advertising concepts, and diverse marketing materials. In addition to producing original creative work that aligns with our brand guidelines, you will play a key role in mentoring the campaign design team and collaborating with wider design teams across the business to deliver consistent, market-leading outcomes.

What You'll Take On:

• Guide design principles on new creative concepts and interpret design briefs to produce original, commercial work from initial ideation and story boarding through to full production.
• Create engaging pitch decks incorporating deep research, colour palettes, campaign names, taglines, logos, animated assets, in-store graphics, product applications, and digital/social media ideas.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, supporting the Campaign Design Manager by providing clear feedback, guidance, and direction.
• Run design projects to ensure high-quality delivery on time, collaborating with internal stakeholders and managing expectations across campaign teams.
• Regularly critique competitor marketing activity, evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies, and share inspiration to keep Next at the forefront of the market.
• Work closely with the Head of Design and Campaign Design Manager to build powerful brand experiences and messaging that connect deeply with customers.

What You'll Bring:

• Extensive experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing creative vision and expertise in multi-channel campaign design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other industry-standard design software.
• A solid understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, and meticulous attention to detail.
• A track record of managing complex projects and consistently delivering high-quality work on time and within budget in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate, present, and pitch design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
• The ability to adapt to evolving priorities and thrive within a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
