About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant in Nr Flint, you will lead by example, supporting your team to provide exceptional care for residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal care and daily activities, overseeing medication administration (after training), and supporting a team of care staff during shifts. You will liaise with families, GPs, and other professionals to ensure residents' needs are met to the highest standards. Maintaining accurate documentation and managing emergency situations with confidence are also key elements of this role.

Key Duties

* Assisting residents with personal and daily living activities

* Administering medication following training (where applicable)

* Supporting and supervising care staff during shifts

* Building positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals

* Managing emergency situations effectively

* Keeping detailed records of care provided

What We're Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

* Previous experience working within a care home environment, with supervisory responsibilities

* A kind, patient, and reliable personality

* Ability to lead a small team with confidence and warmth

* Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for elderly care
