Grafton Recruitment are working with a large international client to appoint a senior procurement professional with experience in leading software categories. This is an exciting newly created role with a dynamic and growing organisation.

This role will take responsibility for:

• Leading strategy around the software categories internationally.
• Working as a subject matter expert on software for the procurement team.
• Leading and developing strategy around the supplier portfolio.
• Developing and leading high value and complex negotiations for the category internationally.
• You will lead the relationship with suppliers and manage their performance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of managing procurement for IT based categories (ideally software focased).
• Development and implementation of category strategy.
• Strong track record of internal and external relationship management.
• Entrepreneurial, with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Consultative approach, and able to take a client facing role.
