Senior CDM Consultant

A well-established engineering consultancy, based in Central London and specialising in high-profile infrastructure and built environment projects, is seeking an experienced CDM Consultant to join their collaborative and long-standing team. The Senior CDM Consultant's role

The CDM Consultant will act as Principal Designer under the CDM 2015 Regulations, offering expert advice to clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure compliance and promote safe construction practices. You will be responsible for leading design risk reviews, attending design meetings, and ensuring the integration of robust health and safety measures from concept through to completion.

You will liaise closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders, using your strong technical and regulatory knowledge to influence design safety and manage risk effectively.

The Senior CDM Consultant

The successful CDM Consultant will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a CDM Principal Designer or CDM Consultant role (essential)
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (essential)
• Working towards or holding TechIOSH/GradIOSH membership (preferred)
• APS membership (IMaPS / CMaPS) (preferred)
• Background in architecture, engineering, or surveying (preferred)

A confident communicator and proactive professional with a solid understanding of design risk management will thrive in this role.
