We're recruiting a Senior Support Worker | Team Leader to join a dedicated team supporting young people in an Ofsted registered children's home in Ealing. The provider provides semi-independent accommodation and children's services focused on helping young people develop confidence, stability and the skills needed for independent living. The Role As a Senior Support Worker | Team Leader, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, supporting colleagues and ensuring young people receive the highest standard of care. You'll be responsible for: * Leading shifts and supporting the daily operation of the home. * Acting as a positive role model and providing guidance to Support Workers. * Supporting young people with their emotional wellbeing, education and independence. * Building positive, trusting relationships with young people. * Completing accurate records, reports and risk assessments. * Contributing to care planning and key working responsibilities. * Promoting safeguarding and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. * Liaising professionally with social workers, local authorities, education providers and other professionals. * Deputising for the Registered Manager when required. About You We're looking for someone who is passionate about changing lives and confident leading by example. You'll ideally have: * Experience working within a children's residential home or supported accommodation setting. * Experience supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. * Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or an experienced Residential Support Worker ready to progress. * Good knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * The ability to remain calm, resilient and solution focused. * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it) is desirable. * Full UK driving licence is desirable.
