Senior Civil Design Engineer- wastewater treatment

My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Civil Engineering Team based in Birmingham.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy working on Clean Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Non- Infrastructure Projects for Water Companies or Contractors. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer you are required to have experience completing calculations and detailed designs for Clean and Potable Water Systems and Wastwater Treatment Facilities.

It is also essential for applicants to live close to Birmingham or travel to Birmingham as you will be required in the office a few times per week.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Microdrainage and Infoworks.

As a Senior Civil Engineer you will be expected to complete calculations and detailed designs for Clean and Potable Water Systems, Pumping Stations, Combined Sewerage Overflow, Pressure Pipes, Water Retaining Structures and Wastwater Treatment Facilities.

You will also be expected to amend technical drawings and liaise with Contractors on site, mentor team members and liaise with Clients to ensure projects run to time and budget.
