Senior Civil Engineer

Role Description:

This full-time, office-based position is located in Burgess Hill and is for a Senior Civil Engineer. The role involves leading and delivering civil engineering projects, producing detailed infrastructure and storm-water management designs, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary project teams, and maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. The successful candidate will take a practical approach to problem-solving and offer technical direction to ensure projects are completed effectively and to a high standard.

Qualifications:

• Strong capability in civil engineering design and a solid grounding in core civil engineering principles.
  

• Proven experience in civil engineering planning and project management.
  

• In-depth knowledge of storm-water management systems and associated design solutions.
  

• Thorough understanding of applicable industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  

• Excellent analytical abilities, with clear communication and strong teamwork skills.
  

• Competence in relevant design software and engineering tools.
  

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional registration or membership is advantageous.
  

• UK residential scheme experience is preferred.
