Senior Claims Executive

Position: Senior Claims Executive - Financial Lines

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000

The client is a leading global insurance broker looking for an experienced Claims Executive to manage Financial Lines Claims with a strong focus on Professional Indemnity to join their successful and technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing retail UK and global claims with a focus on PI, but also dealing with associated risks including FI, Cyber, Crime, D&O (if they have the experience).

This is excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional to be recognised and rewarded for their work. Working with a range of high profile clients you will be managing the relationship and providing a personal service through the claims process. They are looking for someone technical and articulate who can provide the support needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage claims from start to settlement, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of claims.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Handle complex and high-value claims and escalate when necessary.
• Analyse policy wordings and provide guidance on coverage issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all claims activity.
• Proficient in using a number of London Market systems including ECF and CLASS.

Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years' experience in handling Professional Indemnity claims.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in dealing with claims from start to settlement.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using a number of London Market systems including ECF and CLASS.
• Experience in handling associated risks including FI, Cyber and D&O is desirable.
