Senior Claims Executive - Financial Lines

A prestigious Lloyd's broker have an opportunity for a Senior Claims Executive to join their Financial Lines division, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This role will sit within their Financial Institutions claims team and focuses on managing Directors & Officers (D&O) and Professional Indemnity (PI) claims, particularly for Asset Managers. The role involves significant client and third-party interaction, including face-to-face engagements.

Applicants should have prior Professional Indemnity, FI and/or D&O claims handling experience. This will be a hybrid role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, practical, and commercially focused advice on Professional Indemnity/D&O/FI claims.
Focus on claims involving solicitors and accountants within the Financial Institutions sector.
Contribute to departmental operational plans and business targets.
Build strong relationships and negotiate with markets to secure optimal client outcomes.
Act as a senior referral point, providing technical guidance and coaching to the team.
Manage performance and development of direct claims team reports.
