We're now looking for a Senior Client Accountant to join our dynamic team in Earlsfield and take ownership of our client accounting function.

The Role
This is a key position within our finance team, ideally suited to an experienced property accountant who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing large volumes of transactions. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all client money operations, ensuring full compliance with ARLA and RICS standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day client accounting function for a large portfolio of rental properties
• Reconcile client and office accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Process rental payments, landlord statements, and contractor invoices
• Oversee deposits, refunds, and client money transfers in line with regulations
• Liaise with property managers, landlords, and tenants to resolve queries
• Support external audits and ensure best practices are maintained
• Contribute to process improvement and system optimisation initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in property client accounting (lettings preferred)
• Strong understanding of client money handling regulations
• Proficiency with property software (e.g. Qube, Reapit, CFP, or similar)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• AAT or equivalent finance qualification desirable but not essential
