Senior Client Accountant
£45k- £50k + Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home)

The role: This role will be working across a portfolio of commercial office and retail assets. This is a fast paced role with strict reporting deadlines.

Duties:

• Reporting to clients (standard and client specific reporting) ensuring all KPIs are adhered to.
• Preparation of audit packs.
• Preparation of full statutory accounts.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of client reports.
• Preparation of VAT reports and returns
• Principal point of contact for client queries, providing support and advice
• Internal point of contact for Surveying colleagues working closely to ensure all client deliverables are met
• Carry out Balance Sheet reviews and remedial work, with full narrative
• Management of client and property cash-flow and funding
• Annual property service charge reviews and liaise with Asset Manager and Service Charge Team to ensure completion within best practice guidelines
• Responsible for understanding, preparing and reviewing property take on and handover information
• Attend client and internal meetings as and when required
• Manage and maintain the property and lease database for all clients
• Review the work of other team members
• Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Senior Directors and clients

Requirements:

• Previous experience preparing year end accounts across a commercial portfolio of properties highly desirable
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met
• Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube
• Good written and oral communication skills.
