Sheridan Maine is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded, independent accountancy practice based in the West Midlands, as they look to appoint a Senior Client Manager. This is a pivotal role within the firm, offering autonomy, variety, and a clear route to partnership for the right candidate.

The Opportunity:
As Senior Client Manager, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to SMEs across a variety of sectors. You’ll be a key point of contact for clients, overseeing accounts, tax, and advisory services, while managing and mentoring a team of professionals within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of year-end accounts, tax returns, and advisory services.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted business advisor.
• Leading client meetings and offering commercial insights and recommendations.
• Managing workflow across a team of juniors and seniors, including review of work and performance management.
• Contributing to practice development, including identifying new business opportunities.
• Working closely with the senior leadership team to shape the future of the firm.

To be considered for the role of Senior Client Manager, you will possess:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK practice.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a commercial mindset.
• Confident in overseeing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax computations.
• Experience managing and developing junior team members.
