Senior Client Manager

Are you an experienced Senior Client Manager looking for your next challenge within a forward-thinking accountancy practice in Bolton? You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, delivering a full suite of services while supporting the wider team. The role offers excellent variety and progression, with involvement in both day-to-day compliance and higher-level advisory work.
Senior Client Manager Key Responsibilities include:

• 
  Managing a portfolio of clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• 
  Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and forecasts
• 
  Preparing corporation and personal tax computations, with involvement in tax planning
• 
  Supporting clients with ad-hoc projects such as forecasting, cashflows, and due diligence
• 
  Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing training and feedback
• 
  Acting as the main point of contact for clients, resolving queries and building strong relationships
• 
  Leading client assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met
• 
  Identifying potential risks or issues and proposing proactive solutions

• 
  ACA/ACCA qualified (3-5 years PQE)
• 
  Strong technical knowledge across statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, management accounts, and VAT
• 
  Experience with cloud accounting platforms (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks); CCH experience desirable but training available
• 
  Strong Excel skills
• 
  Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 
  Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
• 
  Experience of training/managing junior team members
