Senior Client Manager

The Role

You are an experienced client manager; meticulous, process-driven and a true people-person. You build and maintain close and meaningful relationships with Koto’s clients, know the detail of your projects like the back of your hand and work to support Koto’s commercial goals.

Your Responsibilities

1. You manage the day-to-day running of multiple projects with ease and are able to work quickly, carefully and autonomously to ensure we deliver projects on time and on budget.

2. You take an active role in Koto’s new business activities, ensure creds are created and help to ensure we put our best foot forward.

3. You build great relationships with your clients and internal teams — you know how to advocate for both and communicate clearly to each (both verbally and in writing).

4. You follow best practices across project management and client service, providing the best level of care and service to our clients throughout their time with us.

5. You can write a solid project proposal and timeline and can own your projects and their resourcing. You know who’s on what at all times whilst having one eye on the future.

6. You feel confident to negotiate. Upsells, scope extensions, feedback. You can bring clients back on side when the going gets tough but you can manage any legal or financial concerns upwards.

7. You navigate and report financial data with clarity to your MD and finance team and can easily pull up reports and talk to them using our latest reporting tools.

8. You support junior members of the team, guiding their decision-making behind the scenes to empower them to own their relationships.

9. You have a sound aw in branding and the design community and are able to talk confidently to this.

10. You have a willingness to work in person in our London studio, be an active part of our studio’s culture and are open to travel globally, from Stuttgart to San Francisco.

1. We will ensure you have meaningful and regular access to your manager to support your personal development and career trajectory.

2. We will actively reward performance with promotions, pay increases and a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10% of salary to all employees.

5. We will actively encourage you to take 25 days holiday yearly, in addition to UK bank holidays (on average eight), one additional holiday day per year (capped at 5 additional days), and a studio closure between Christmas and New Year.

6. We will contribute an additional 3% to anyone wanting to engage in the Scottish Widows pension scheme.

7. We offer private medical insurance via Vitality Health and a monthly ‘employee wellness’ benefits package via Juno of £75 per month.

9. We reward five years of service with £5,000 and five days holiday. We reward ten years of service with £10,000 and four weeks holiday.

10. We will give you the opportunity to work from any of the five koto studios globally, with appropriate planning and application.
