Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a stable, permanent position with excellent working hours?
We are currently recruiting for a Senior CNC Operator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cranbrook.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC professional who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality components and is looking to develop their career within a supportive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating CNC machinery.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Setting tools, offsets and machine parameters.
* Producing components to precise tolerances and specifications.
* Carrying out in-process and final quality inspections.
* Using a range of precision measuring equipment.
* Identifying and resolving machining and production issues.
* Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
* Supporting and mentoring less experienced CNC operators where required.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
* Following all company health & safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter.
* Experience with FANUC is a must
* Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
* The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience working to tight tolerances.
* Good knowledge of tooling, offsets and machine settings and solidworks.
* Experience using precision measuring equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
