The successful candidate will join a small, dynamic team and play a crucial role in overseeing the collection of outstanding debts, recovery of equipment, and disposal of end-of-lease assets in accordance with the company's established guidelines, policies, and procedures. They will be responsible for providing exceptional support and maintaining strong relationships with dealers and partners. Additionally, the candidate may provide work direction, training, coaching, and mentoring to other Collection and Litigation Administrators and internal staff. This role will also involve occasional visits to customers and dealers.
Major Duties:
Manage and monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
Prepare documents related to collections and litigation.
Oversee the disposal process for leased equipment.
Handle customer reschedule requests.
Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding payments.
Coordinate with legal counsel to manage litigation cases.
Maintain accurate records of all communications, transactions, and legal proceedings.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding collections and litigation.
Prepare and submit regular reports on collection activities and litigation status.
Assist in the development and implementation of collection policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and issues.
Develop and maintain business relationships with dealers, Area Sales Managers, and other stakeholders through video calls and face-to-face meetings.
Occasionally support the underwriting team.
Contribute to regional process improvement initiatives.
Provide coaching and mentoring to other Collection and Litigation Administrators and internal staff.
Education:
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Degree in a Business/Management/Finance/Account discipline or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
Experience in Collections or debt recovery.
Experience working in a customer service or related customer-oriented environment.
As this is a Langar-based hybrid role the successful candidate will be expected to live within commuting distance of the branch.
