Key responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:

• Lead on financial modelling for complex procurement programmes and commercial negotiations.

• Develop robust "Should Cost" and pricing models to support supplier and outsourcing decisions.

• Deliver critical financial analysis of suppliers to support contract awards and ensure value for money.

• Design payment methodologies aligned with programme success, managing financial risk.

• Provide expert financial insight to senior decision makers and stakeholders across the business.

• Lead and develop a small team of modellers and finance professionals.

• Act as a trusted advisor, bringing analytical rigour and commercial acumen to procurement strategies.

Key essentials of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIPFA, ICAS, or equivalent)

• Proven expertise in financial modelling using Excel

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into impactful insight

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
