Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Job Description

Due to the expansion of the Subrogated Recoveries Property Damage team, this Top Tier Law Firm is looking to hire a talented senior lawyer to join them.

The successful candidate will be working with the Partner to manage a caseload of large and complex cases involving the most significant commercial and household property damage and insurance claims in the UK. They could be claims arising from floods, fires or significant events leading to £Multi-million claims.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor / Legal Executive and ideally have experience of managing a team - whether from a commercial litigation, property damage, professional negligence background. You will be managing staff, handling recruitment and liaising with insurers to include presenting monthly MI and training.

The Candidate

Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive
Experience in Property Damage / Commercial Litigation / Professional Negligence
Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
