Senior Commercial Manager

Our client are a well-established main contractor specialising in social housing projects across London. Their core focus includes retrofit, roofing, and decent homes programmes.

Due to ongoing growth and a robust pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager with an extensive Quantity Surveyor background to join their senior leadership team.

The Role

You will lead and develop the commercial function across multiple frameworks and projects, ensuring commercial governance, profitability, and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with operational leads, clients, and supply chain partners to drive efficiency and value across all phases of delivery.

This role offers a direct pathway to Commercial Director, with board-level responsibilities and strategic input as the business continues to scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial activities across retrofit, roofing, and decent homes programmes
• Ensure effective contract administration, cost management, valuations, and reporting
• Provide commercial insight and risk management to support strategic decision-making
• Mentor and develop Quantity Surveyor , promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Contribute to business growth and long-term planning at executive level

• Strong knowledge of retrofit, roofing, and decent homes compliance and delivery
• Track record of team leadership and mentoring in a commercial environment
