Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor based in Kettering for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity, offering the potential of a Junior Partnership. 

Summary of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor role 

Salary: £60,000+ per annum
Location: Kettering
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: full-time Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

Manage your own caseload, providing full support on a variety of property transactions.
Advise clients on leases, acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and agricultural property.
Liaise with commercial lenders and third parties to progress transactions efficiently.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and related legal documents.
Act for a range of clients, including SIPPs/SASSs, corporate entities, and private individuals.
Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and quality review.
Build strong, lasting client relationships through excellent service and legal expertise.
Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the department, with scope to specialise in niche areas as the team expands.
Requirements for a successful Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

Qualified Solicitor with several years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
Proven track record of managing a busy, complex caseload independently.
Strong knowledge of property law and commercial conveyancing processes.
Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and leadership potential.
Desire to progress and take on greater responsibility, with a clear career path and potential for future partnership.
