Senior Consultant (Accreditations)

Requirements 

This role will provide sustainability services for a broad range for public and private sector clients. This is a diverse role with many potential opportunities to technically support clients on their sustainability journey.  The role will support growth and delivery of the LII ESG Accreditations Team  by and with a diverse workload including:

• Undertaking sustainability assessments for different accreditation schemes (e.g. BREEAM LEED, etc.), including:
  
  
  
  • Lead on day-to-day delivery of project Assessments. 
  
  
  • Chairing meetings with clients and design teams. 
  
  
  • Ensuring the necessary information/evidence needed for the assessments is collected and reviewed. 
  
  
  • Preparing reports to be submitted to authorising body e.g. (BRE, USGBC).
  
  
  • Advising on anticipated scores and provide regular updates to project team members.
  
  
  • Producing and keep up to date monthly tracking schedules.
  
  


• Undertaking Environmental / Sustainability Gap Analysis.


• Providing support on technical studies such as sustainability and resilience EIA chapters and sustainable master planning.


• Producing Sustainability Strategies / statements and policies.


• Providing delivery support to the Accreditations Team and wider Arcadis Teams when required.


• Assisting with the development of sustainability thought leadership within Arcadis, our external profile and also with clients. 

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• A good understanding in technical and commercial matters associated with the above. 


• Working experience.


• Training and License / qualification in relevant accreditation scheme e.g. BREEAM.


• Experience in delivering an accreditation project from start to finish successfully achieving certification. 


• Strong technical analytical skills. 


• Confident Excel and Power BI user. 


• Experience in thought leadership. 


• Well-rounded knowledge on wider sustainability and carbon / climate change issues.


• Proven ability to assist or lead on client presentations and preparation of bids/ proposals. 


• Good attention to detail, technical report writing ability and be able to assimilate information quickly.


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience in using Tracker-Plus and IES TaP


• Experience in managing complex projects and programmes will be advantageous
