Senior Consultant - Banking

Are you an experienced financial services professional looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a talented Consultant or Senior Consultant to join a leading Big 4 consultancy's Actuarial Insurance & Banking team.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll work with Tier 1 banks globally to design and implement financial resource management initiatives to improve shareholder returns. Responsibilities include:

Providing strategic advice on balance sheet optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Supporting clients in developing strategies for resource allocation, customer service innovations, and pricing.
Designing and developing data models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks to drive efficient decision-making.
Managing large-scale projects such as technology implementation, M&A, and regulatory oversight.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone with:

Experience in finance, treasury, risk, or product teams in the banking sector.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, modelling, communication, and presentation techniques.
Familiarity with banking and capital markets products, financial dynamics, and regulations.
Advanced skills in the Office suite and familiarity with financial models and statistical frameworks.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Business acumen and understanding of the economic landscape and its impact on the banking industry.

Desirable Attributes:

While not required, the following attributes are considered a plus:

Pursuing or open to professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar.
Specialized knowledge in balance sheet management, ALM, structuring hedge programs, or pricing strategies.
Understanding of the asset and wealth management industry and its evolving landscape.
Knowledge of Python or other modern programming languages and advanced business modelling.
