Senior Contract Specialist

We're looking for an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join our growing commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional to take ownership of high-value customer and supplier contracts, support strategic business initiatives, and influence commercial outcomes across a dynamic international business.

This role will be based at our Kintore and Turriff offices, with travel between both locations required.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of complex commercial agreements.


• Advising senior stakeholders on contractual risk, governance, and commercial strategy.


• Managing customer and supplier contracts, including Framework Agreements and Master Service Agreements.


• Supporting business development, tendering, project delivery, and operational teams.


• Driving best practice in contract management and commercial governance.


• Contributing to dispute avoidance, claims management, and commercial performance improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a Senior Contract Specialist, Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, or similar position.


• Demonstrated success negotiating complex contracts and achieving strong commercial outcomes.


• Strong understanding of commercial, legal, and contractual principles.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience operating within international commercial environments.

Desirable

• Degree qualification in a commercial, legal, or business-related discipline.


• Experience within Energy, Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Marine, Subsea, Defence, or related sectors.
