Senior Contracts Lawyer

London County Council

The London County Council is currently seeking a qualified solicitor, Barrister, or fellow of ILEX or equivalent to join their legal services team on a temporary assignment. Primary duties will include helping deliver transformational and exciting projects. The successful candidate must have experience in contracts and procurement law, covering legal work related to the procurement of goods, works, and services, state aid/subsidy control, funding agreements, TUPE issues, drafting and advising on a range of bespoke contract documents, construction contracts, local authority governance, including clearing of internal reports.

We are looking for individuals who are accustomed to working at a fast pace in a busy team. Excellent communication and drafting skills are a must, along with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to a variety of audiences.
